These 5 ingredients can make your mixer grinder squeaky clean

A clean and well-maintained kitchen is not just about spotless walls and space management. Keeping your kitchen appliances is another important aspect for the same. Right after cooktop, mixer- grinder is perhaps the most used kitchen appliance. With daily use, there are fair chances that it might get dirty and smelly. Here are 5 ingredients that you can use to keep your mixer-grinder spotlessly clean.

1) Vinegar:

Vinegar

Vinegar has some percentage of acetic acid which helps rub off stains. Coffee, curry or any other types of stains, vinegar can make those disappear within seconds. Just mix two tablespoon vinegar in a mug of water and pour this solution into the mixer and grinder. Switch on the grinder so that the solution gets properly circulated inside both the components. Doing this step twice for 20 seconds should be enough to get rid of stains. In case, the stain persists, repeat the process again with less amount of water.

2) Lemon Peel:

lemon-peel

Wait! Don’t throw that lemon peel in the dust-bin. It can be used an all-natural stink-remover. Rub the peel outside and inside the mixer, grinder and juicer and their respective lids. Wash it after 15-20 minutes. This helps remove pungent smell which may have resulted due to leaving the three components unwashed for a long time.

3) Alcohol:

alcohol

Isopropyl alcohol is a disinfectant which not only dries quickly, but also does not cause any damage to plastic or metal surfaces. Further, it does not leave any marks on the surface once it gets dry. Mix water and alcohol in the proportion of ¾ and ¼. Sprinkle this solution all over your appliance and leave it for 10 minutes. And voila! You have a clean, odorless and shining mixer-grinder once again.

4) Baking Powder:

Make a thick paste by adding water to baking powder. Be careful about the quantity of water as adding too much water will make the paste too watery and result in sloppiness during its application on the appliance. Once you have applied the paste evenly on the appliance, leave it for 15-20 minutes. Wash it with luke-warm water. This will remove the odor and also make your appliance free of dirt and grime.

5) Dish washing solution

Add 3-4 drops of dish washing solution into a mug of water. Pour this solution in the mixer-grinder and switch on the appliance to let the solution swirl inside. Repeat twice and then rinse the twice. Ensure that there’s no residue of the solution as the chemicals in it might contaminate your food, the next time you will use the mixer, grinder and juicer.

Why is Art rapidly going online?

Why is Art rapidly going online?

Art has a lot of dimensions and there is no fixed definition or platform which could hold art to its own. As the forms of art increase, so does the platform on which they are popularized. In the beginning, only patrons of the artist could view the paintings/ sculptures. This changed later when paintings and sculptures became more popular and art became more for the masses. Gallery viewings were held and so did distribution of art.

Art

Art

This was when art as a trade was established. Yet, these paintings and sculptures remained largely hidden from the general public, inaccessible to them because of a privileged circle that they had built around it or the exorbitant prices they demanded. But with the onset of the 21st century, art has gone through a major breakthrough. The sale of art saw a new platform altogether, they were being sold online.

For the millennial, an individual in their 20s or 30s, purchasing their first piece of art was quite path breaking and like everything else they bought, this too was to be purchased online. Not only did the online purchase make it hassle free for the new age art connoisseur but it also meant they could buy limited edition prints of their favorite pieces in an online bid.

How does the online module work?

The online art world/ art trade meant that both artists as well as art buyers could make their transactions online. While the artist gains popularity through this medium; the buyer, especially one who is making their first buy is definitely finding a lot more comfort in this kind of an arrangement. It is anticipated that the value of online art will go up by almost double the margin in the coming years.

While there is buzz around on how the online art portal will affect the business of offline galleries and exhibition spaces, there is also talk that this will only the boost the sales of artwork both in the form of paintings as well as sculptures. When promoted through an online platform, to sell your artwork online or sell your paintings online would not be a mammoth task.

The evolution of art through the different movements as well as the growing trends in art has changed along with the change in centuries. Not only has browsing art become easy online but also that it has become much less intimidating as opposed to going to a gallery directly to buy art. This has only translated into an increasing number of patrons.

Does the online platform slow down the sales of galleries etc.?

While there are many who would like to see the launch of an online platform to sell your artwork online as the beginning of the end of physical galleries, it is also true that this can be viewed simply as an alternative medium through art can be showcased.

While not seeing the object may be something that may leave seasoned buyers apprehensive, it is not much of a problem for the younger generation who rely on the internet for a variety of purchases. This also means that the online arena guarantees a larger ratio of content customers/art patrons.

With the introduction of a number of art blogs which read into and help price the art, it has become much less tedious and much more risk-free to buy and sell your paintings online through websites such as Artiliving.
