Just like the bedroom furniture, the Italian kitchen design is also become a popular design. If we often watch a movie sets in Italia, we will see the traditional kitchen design furnished with old furniture which bring a warm atmosphere. The Italians like to design their kitchen with something traditional. There are two design types of Italian kitchen, the old design and the rustic design.

An Old Italian Kitchen Design

The old Italian kitchen design idea uses more old furniture. With small size, the furniture are ordered close to each other. There are counters, cabinets, an old stove, small open shelves, a dining table, and a chandelier. All of them are old wooden furniture in old design but still look good and antique. White is dominating the kitchen, including the wall. The wooden dark brown dining table is placed in the middle of the kitchen. There is no modern technology, such as dish washer, coffee maker, or electric oven. The kitchen is full of kitchen appliances hang on the backsplash and above the stove, while the seasoning is saved in the cabinets and the open shelves.

A Rustic Italian Kitchen Design

Rustic is close to nature, for you who like the nature and want it to apply inside, you may have this rustic kitchen design. Rustic design takes more natural materials and finishes. For rustic Italian kitchen, you can apply the brick walls and backsplash or river stone walls to your kitchen. The furniture materials must be made of wood without any finishing process. The kitchen itself is furnished with wooden cabinets, wooden counters, wooden dining table, a stove, and an oven. Add some plants to make it more natural.

From an Italian kitchen, there are many delicious and famous foods created, such as spaghetti, pizza, lasagna, pasta, and many others. They like to cook with strong spices. Therefor, we will always meet some seasoning in Italian kitchen. The traditional Italian kitchen design idea can be a good inspiration for your kitchen.
